Caribbean Calcite, also known as Blue Aragonite is one of my favourite crystals. It reminds of the beach and the sea in all its different moods.
Caribbean calcite is just the trade name for blue aragonite, but even the name blue aragonite is not accurate at all. The blue in the stones is actually calcite, but the white and brown parts that make it look like a beach are aragonite.
As a stone it enhances emotional perception and increases empathy and compassion towards ourselves and others. It can also help us to release fear of so-called “negative” emotions, such as grief or anger.
